"Cubase 10.5, The Best Yet"
Two years ago I had written a poor review on Cubase 9.5 and the non-existent tech support.
Today I write about their latest upgrade Cubase Pro 10.5, with it's second update to 10.5.2.
I must admit that after my experience with the issues in 9.5 that took 5 updates to mostly stabilize, and the release of Cubase 10 without completely stabilizing 9.5, I was reluctant to upgrade to 10. I watched the Facebook user groups for complaints about issues with the new upgrade right up until the release of 10.5 upgrade.
When I saw that they had two updates on Cubase 10.5, I continued to watch for complaints about issues. At the same time, I was taking notes on the new features that were in 10.5 that would improve my workflow. I looked for people who would complain of issues with 10.5.2 and saw none. At that time I decided I would take the chance and upgrade.
I must say that I am glad I upgraded to 10.5. I had been using it for several weeks and not one single stability issue. It is solid. It is smooth. It is fast, and uses less CPU power.
I had been a Cubase user since 2007, and up until now had both some minor and major issues with stability. Steinberg really got it right this time. I love this DAW and would recommend it to anyone who wants a DAW with almost every tool you need for any type of musical situation.
